We were kind of in the same position! I had a modded c6 vette with full z06 wide body, and I ended up not being too happy with it. I drove a nismo 370z and a G37S and ended up buying the infiniti. I loved the nismo 370z, but I didn't feel like the power difference was big enough to sacrifice the comfortable aspect that the infiniti had. I was annoyed that the nismo doesnt come with power seats, leather or nav or anything. It's stripped down like a base model besides red accents and stuff. I understand its meant to be a track car, but is the weight of the power seat motors really going to be a deal breaker for someone that wanted to track it lol. I wanted it to daily drive, and I would've bought the nismo if it had the options that the touring model came with. I wouldn't track it so I ended up buying the g because it was more comfortable but still quick when I feel like messing around

im possibly makin a move myself. im torn between audi a5, 370z or like a 95 nsx if i could find one in the 20k range which ive found already...... also contimplated with 4-door and thought of is-f but knowin how bi-polar i can be i prolly will keep z lol

My brother had an is-f and sold it a few weeks ago. He just worked out a deal on an 09 red GTR. Someone made an offer on my G37 and if I end up getting rid of it I might pick up a cls550.
I as well. I love the look and power of those AMG's but it's just not meant to be.
I used to love manual, but riding in nice fast luxury cars, I prefer them auto now. I don't think I would've liked the IS-F if it came in manual IMHO. I think 4 door sporty luxury cars are perfect in automatic, most people buy them to cruise anyways I think.

While we may have the same taste in cars I definitely have to disagree there. I will always have a manual transmission in my car till my leg falls off or until I die. I just feel so much more involved.
