you CAN get a Z06 for around 30 used with decent miles atleast down here but I think you would be dissapointed in the ride quality and nterior quality sure its rocket but it drives like crap my neighbor has one. Go with a 335i used they respond well to bolt ons my buddys 335 smokes c6 corvettes all day with just a tune
Also, the z06 does not ride like crap. It does however have a stiff ride because.........drum roll...........it's a sports car! In any matter, the OP probably wants a grand tourer or something like that so the z06 is not even an option. The 335's are nice and pretty quick to boot so it would be a nice choice.

IF i were to get rid of the Z....it would be for a more "practical" car with 4 seats/4 doors.
with that being said...i would probably go with a lexus if i want comfort.
but knowing myself...i'd still want to play around with cars a little bit so i'd go for evo IX or X. i also like the new STI.

Making stuff up dude? I just did a scan of a 100 mile radius (MIAMI) on autotrader for a 2006 z06 and up and the cheapest one I found was for 40g's..

I'll be replacing mine with either a house or bike, and hopefuly both after I relocate to Far north QLD. I'll be leaving the Z here in the U.S. Shipped it back from Hawaii to the mainland. My dad will take care of it.
Anyways, after going to Oz Im hoping to settle there and invest in a house (if I like the far north and dont get antsy) but lately ive had a really bad trigger finger and might pull it when I go over to oz and pick this up.

I'm not saying you're wrong because it's hard to find a Z06 for under $40k, but I've seen them for sale here in Jacksonville, FL for $30k with less than 20k miles on the clock. I've only seen them for that price a few times, but every once in a while you can find them.
I just did a search on autotrader for a corvette years 2006-2007 at the maximum price of 35k at any distance and guess how many z06's it returned............drum roll again...........ZERO!

Calin, you of all people should know to read threads before you post homeslice. INTERNETS=SERIOUS BUSINESS.
My first response was to the rp6mt who is from Miami hence why I responded with what you quoted above. I think your getting him confused with Billy. Secondly, my second post clearly stated I did a search at any distance on autotrader for a z06 under 35k and not one popped up. Come on Calin, step your game up!

My reason for not wanting to go FI at this point is that I've done so much to the car already, and I still feel this way. Every time I did a new mod to the car, I fell back in love with it. If I boost it and get these feelings of wanting to get rid of it again, I will just be out more $$$ then I am at this point and back in the same position. I have been wanting to do an LSx swap, or go FI for a while, but I will dump 20k more into the car, and still get eaten up by my brothers IS-F, or a stock Z06. I think I should move on to something thats a nice DD and will retain its value better then a modded z, until next year when I want to pull the trigger on something big like a GTR or something along those lines.
