Default Hit and Run.....AWESOME!!!

Gotta love people that do this kind of thing. No note no nothing. New bumper, fender should be salvageable, hopefully I can sand down the splitter a bit and sell it. Probably go aftermarket on the new bumper but don't want anything to aggressive I like more of a clean. Thoughts on my options for a new bumper are welcome and appreciated.

Ugh sorry to hear that bro. and your bumper is fine. just needs a lil lovin. i save way more worse stuff than this at the body shop i work at. looks like the bumper just needs to be re bolted on. and the lip will be fine if its no cracked or scratched real deep but gimme better close ups and ill buy it... maybe. and the fender? just take some 180grit sand paper and sand the scratches down so when you bring it to get fixed its cheaper for you. same with the bumper try and sand all your scratches out so the body guy doesnt charge you 45/hr to do so.

Insurance is covering everything so I'm not worried about that. The bolt holes are ripped out on the bumper though. Might as well go aftermarket if I can

I do to but insurance is taking care of this so I have to try and stay within the estimate which I should have tomorrow morning.

Their not gunna buy you a diff front bumper unless its cheaper for them to do so.... (doubt it) your insurance wants to spend the lease money they can lol. but ask them to take the bumper money off the deductible price and you buy the bumper. youll have to prolly pay shop extra to install/drill the new bumper for you. i did a amuse front for a nismo and it took me 1.5hrs just fitting/drilling new bumper. they wont do that for fre. these guys are on commission. (BTW Amuse looks sick yet simple with the side vents painted black.)

Heres the one i did.

You should consider this. The lip makes it very aggressive

USAA uses aftermarket parts is what i was told buy the shop so I would like to find a cheap alternative and a 4 figure bumper. Guess I'll just stick with the stock look

All your "cheaper" insurance companies go with either aftermarket parts or used parts. and when i say aftermarket i dont mean amuse, chargespeed etc. more like remanufactured parts. You get what you pay for. they may sound nice and all but their adjuster will argue so hard with the technician when he's trying to replace a part that shouldnt be repaired its rediculous lol.

9 out of 10 times when you car takes forever to get fixed at a body shop its because the shop has to wait for approval from your insurance company to continue repairs when they find more hidden damage. Just some insite lol.

BTW that car i posted is Mpact1981's car

USAA is really good with this kind of thing. They will reimburse me for the splitter if it can't be fixed to my liking which is unheard of. They are one of the better companies out there dealing with nothing but military and their families. The body shop said they never have a problem with them. Normally they send them the estimate and no question asked So basically I need to get the estimate tomorrow and find out what a new bumper is going to cost and then find something comparable.

Sorry to hear about your situation. Sucks... people don't respect other peoples property.

Your bumper is fine, that will be an easy fix.

Sad, the things people will do, and then drive off without any remorse. USAA should let you have the repairs at the shop of your choice and use ONLY OEM parts also. Good ruck feLLa.

They will but I went with this shop recommended by them simply because of the guarantee factor. If there are any issues ever they will take care of it.
