anyone tried to open the glove box while it's lock. The lock really suck, just pull and the thing opens.

Yea, it does, that's why you have a valet key.

 

Damn, I didn't know I had a valet key either. Gonna have to go check the other set.

On the 04, they now give you two regular keys (blank on one side, and w/a silver Nissan logo on the other). The valet is black and has Nissan in black on both sides.


My 02 Max was like zand02max's. The regular keys had black Nissan logos on both sides and the maroon one was the valet key.

 

Damn, I have them both. Shows how much I paid attention at the delivery. The car must have distracted me!!

 

Maybe the guy sucked like mine did at delivery (he was pissed that I actually wanted to read the entire purchase conctract). After reading about the valet key in the owners manual (yes, I read all of that too) I found it underneath the drivers seat with a cool little plastic covery thingy on the key teeth. I wonder if my dealer even knows that there is a a valet key for my car

And yea, 04 has 2 keys with silver logo and one with black, no maroon crap. But it's not like I'd ever let a valet drive my car anyway so it's just cool to have.
