2004 350z Base 6mt TRANNY ISSUES?
Im in the market to purchase a 350z.
I test drove an 04 base 6spd.
The Clutch engages EXTREMELY high... The car doesnt even begin to move until you let off the clutch almost completely...
Could this be a sign that the whole tranny is about to go out? Or will a simple clutch replacement fix this??
Are the 04 models known for tranny issues or was it only the 03 models??
please help
Also, does the base come with HID headlights??
Whats the difference between the base and enthusiast model??

You can adjust to clutch. It is a pain in the @$$ but can be done. Also the more you drove it you would get use to it.
Here is the how to.

If you spent 20 minutes reading, you could answer all your questions. A serious buyer would know the models and amenities before shopping.

The car im considering is a 2004.5 model.
Im aware that the 03-04 models have issues, but from what ive read, the 2004.5 has most of the kinks worked out.. Ie: tire feathering, tranny issues.
