What is the most pointless part of the car?
The terribly engineered window motors...they are BRUTAL!!!
The very first day I learned about the window trick and using your key to roll them down, my driverside window stared acting up. Eversince then, I only touch it to make sure it is rolled up all the way incase I know it may rain.
I am NOT looking forward to replacing/cleaning the motor. There IS a great DIY here:

....but It looks like a continual problem. Oh well, sacrifice the Mickey D's drive thru, but you get to roll in a Z...I guess its a fair trade.

LMFAO...i thot the same thing, i turned it on and was like WTF and it was 96 degrees outside...
I think the window trick is oone of the better things on the car if pointless to some. When its hot I can walk 2 my car instead of gettin in and it being extremly hot in a car or kepeing my door open. And most people that don't have it wish they do. All my EVO and STI buddies hate that it comes with it.
I'd say the Oil and Battery gauge on the dash. They never really move or tell me anything lol. I was driving the other week everything looked fine. Came out a bookstore, started the car.. battery was dead. No warning.
well if the alternator is chargin of course it won't warn you...that is what a battery light is for. You probably left something on....
After washing my car today I finally noticed the driver's side lock (where you put the key in) ... I think after almost a year of ownership this is the first time I really noticed it because I always lock/unlock with the automatic hand-held device thingie. So that brings up a question ... what part of the Z do you think is the most pointless? I vote for that cause I have never used it once. Other pointless items include:
1) The flimsey passenger side cup holder
2) Any buttons on the steering wheel cause i never touch them
3) The inside trunk release
4) The rear wiper
If you can think of anymore let me know!

HOPE THIS HELPS GIVE ME SOME REPLY IF YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THIS
What kind of gorilla hands do you guys have with the whole "turn signal, turning off headlights" debacle? This has never happened to me. Do you guys smack the crap out of the turn signal stalk like it's a hooker mouthing off to you?
And to the guys from years ago talking about the audible tick from the blinkers. I never understood how people can forget that they turned them on. Did you make your turn? Did you not notice the signal stalk click back into neutral? Do you look at your gauges ever? Notice the blinking green light? Are you a 80 year old Asian woman?
To keep with the thread theme, I agree with the people who said:
6 cup holders in a two seater. The two in the doors I never use for fear of scratching them up, the two furthest in the back are useless, however I will use the ones in the center.
Stopwatch. It would be cool if it automatically timed you to 60mph or something, but otherwise dumb.
Airbag stickers, come on now. Every car has these now too and I know it's to keep sue happy people from losing their minds. All of that info is either common sense, in the manual or something I don't care about.
Knee pads, wtf? They do nothing.
Coat hangers. LOL, I tried to use them once to hang my dress uniform up......they are useless.

I tried the window up trick last night I never knew my key has never been put in the door. Now I know. Preciate it!
