What is the most pointless part of the car?
^+1 and the Z's steering is so tight you really have to take a 90 degree turn to get the wheel to the blinker engagement point for it to click off when the wheel comes back straight
I think the airbags are the most useless part of the Z. Don't wreck and you don't need them,
. Why is this thread back from 03 by the way? What is it with people bringing 5 year old threads back from the dead?

I would say the most useless thing for me is the pads on the side of the center console. And I don't get all the complaints on the cup holder, it works fine for me, granted I don't eat or drink in my car, sometimes I have to transport food back to work to eat, and it has held a large drink from Whataburger just fine.
Oakley half jackets are by no means big sunglasses, and they don't even start to fit. This and the cupholders suck, energy drink cans tip over in the one on the dash because it isn't deep enough, and the other ones are a PITA to use since they're so far back.
Darn straight.
At least twice now I was driving fast at night switching from high beams to low beams (oncoming cars) and WHAM the headlights go out!!!
That headlight switch turns WAY to easy to be on the stalk with the turns and high beams.
It is pretty feaky when the road goes BLACK at 70 mph.

70 mph isnt fast at all. Thats the speed limit on the highway over here.
Come at me when youre hitting 115 cruising.... jk yeah it's happened to me too. Even scarier when you start to hit the middle turtle thingys
the brakes.
nah probably the navi cover, and i am sure that has been mentioned before. any time someone gets in my car they say OOOOO what does this do and i flip out on them because only a Z owner knows how to operate that damned thing.

i would have to go with the auto ac as well. i put it on it one time to see what it did and it just blasted me with freaking mr. freeze's breath from batman. i just want a little cool air nissan, thats way too much.
OK, let's see what else? Oh, the anchor point for a child's safety seat... OK, show of hands; how many of you have a safety seat on their Zs? Now, common sense would dictate that whoever has kids and owns a Z usually has a second car, in which to tote their kids around... One that is usually littered with baby bottles, cheetos, cookie crumbs and the like...
I dunno about you guys (and gals), but that's about the most oxymoron thing to put on a Z.

My half jackets fit, you just have to turn them upside-down with the nose piece toward you.
try this( lock u car up,then push and hold the unlock button, and see what happens, once u see,put the key in the door and twist 2 ur right.......now ull see why its there.......i personally think there might be stuff on the car that can seem point less but they r there for some reason.....
that key window trick is old and coms in handy alot...
if you drive ur z in winter... when it gets below 35 degrees outside "ICY" comes up on your speedometer on the dash and theres no way to get rid of it... yeh its cold out i know its icy outside nissan... it even says it when the sun is shining and everything lol
