The POS rear handbrake. I feel like i can brake it anytime i give it a reall good yank. For now it's power over....

 

LMFAO I too have looked until one day i was in chinatown and bought these shades that are skinny enough to fit in there and it only cost me 5 bucks when i put them in my jaw dropped i couldnt beleive they actually had shades that fit in there lol i also hate that cup holder once my friend was entering the car to sit and hit it with his knee and it came right out i was like noooooooo you broke it you idiot ..... luckly he didnt ...stupid cup holder ...and destructive friends dont mix.. and dont get me started on that cubby

 

What about that stupid power outlet that's only in the back next to your shoulder. Mine is '03 and that's the only power outlet to plug in radar detectors ect....so you have to stretch the cord from the windshield through the middle of the car to the back to plug it in. And then it doesn't reach!!

 

yeah screw that. i hate having my radar detector cord running all over my car. i need to hard wire it in.

 

Yup, Fits my Flak Jacket Oaks just fine and I use the passenger cup holder everyday to hold my Mickie's large coffee. No issues what so ever!

...speaking about the rear wiper, I wonder WHY would Nissan position that u-g-l-y thing vertically, instead of horizontally AND hidden under some scoop of sorts built into the hatch door! Maybe, one of these days, one of their engineers on the drawing board will see the light!

 

Radar detectors don't work.




I think my number one thing I hate is the stupid cup holder. I have an 03...they give me one cup holder, that gets stuck in and out each time I use it. So one time I got a little frustrated and pulled it out too hard and broke it :'(

So I now have no cupholders? Come on...

Rear windshield wiper = useless and kills the clean look of the car I want.

So many compartments behind the seat...and still ONE CUPHOLDER THAT BREAKS?!?

Not to sound like a commercial, but the Escort 9500i actually works the way you'd want a radar detector to. It's different from all the other brands cuz it has a GPS in it, so you can program it to block out false alarms (and it remembers the location of the false alarm & won't alarm next time you're there) and of course the alarm always goes off way before a cop can see you. Only downside, it costs $450!

I have an '03 and it has 3 cup holders. The flimsy pop-out one on the passenger side dash, and there's 2 inside the center console. (underneath where your right elbow goes). Although its possible the cup holder part came out and got lost (it's removeable)

lol dude its probably not broken...its happen to me lots of times all you have to do is open it out and slide the track back in and push it into the slot as if you were going to close it.. like the other guy said its removable lol...oh and the stupid thing about the way the trunk realse works arrrhrhrha you have to push button then like the flash pull up the trunkwith quickness everytime someone puts something in the trunk and i let them go get it they can never open the trunk im like no PUSH AT SAME TIME LIFT..i always end up geting out of car to do it for them

 

man that's true i hate how nobody can open my trunk i tell them there is a little rubber push button, and they can ever find it, after 3 min i get frustrated and get out and open it for them haha

 

well mine does... i don't know what detector you've had but you get what you pay for... and my valentine slays radar.

 

Mine has also saved my butt a couple times too and I used to have a POS Cobra detector but anyways yea my biggest complaint is the plug in...

 

The instructions on the inside of the trunk lid of the roadster, supposed to tell you how to houdini a golf bag in there. Anyone actually tried to get a full size set of clubs in there? Impossible!

 

i have an 08 and the only cup holders i have are two in the center console with the slide lid, 2 behind the center console (between the seats) with an up/down lid and one the bottom front of each door. i read people are talking about the flimsy passenger side cup holder, where in the world is that???? did the earlier models have that?

 

Yeah the 2003 has a couple stupid design flaws of the interior. Besides the only power plug being in the back (above the sub) there is a cup holder that looks like this. And if you loose the cupholder insert for the center console (under where your right elbow goes) this is the only cup holder you have left! The flimsy cupholder pops out when you push on the front of it. And it gets pushed back inside the dash when your done with it.

Idk why it says "Radio" there, mine says AM/FM or something like that I think. Maybe this is a Japanese, or European one.

 

lol at all the little flimsy cup holder comments. I have 1 on each door. 2 in the middle. And 2 in the center console. TAKE SOME OF MINE. The ones in the doors can hold nothing bigger than a can drink or normal sized bottle. And I normally get the HUGE drinks from fast food places.
