I really think the problem is they're a niche brand for now older cars. I mean how many people own R32 Skylines that want a $6k intercooler?

LOL its obvious they made no attempt to lower their insane markup to try and save themselves from having to file bankruptcy... Elite until the end, i guess.

Somehow this doesnt surprise me. Seems to me the import enthusiasts niche is too small with too much of a teen-young adult base to sustain a company selling only super high-end "paying for name" products in this world-wide economy. Honestly surprised they lasted this long.

Regardless, this is still a sad loss to import enthusiasts no doubt.

Although i believe their markup is insane even with taking into account the high quality of the products, they do make some damn beautiful stuff which is why this is so sad.

The brand ***** in me is sad, the frugal side of me is meh.

I'm surprised they were able to stay solvent as long as they did. Prices were beyond insane considering the market (affordable imports) to which they catered.

Its not a total done deal yet, but they have halted any incoming orders according to that writeup. Filing bankruptcy doesnt necessarily mean the end of the company for good.

Ya the V2 catch can is something i have on my to-buy list... was hoping to get it new but it doesnt look like thats gonna happen. And cant get it now before middle men stocks are depleted as i just bought a BMW daily, so cash is strapped at the moment.

oh, I'm so surprised by this. their products were priced so well and for high end cars that people with a lot of money buy.

Maybe they will have a "going out of bussiness sale", and we can finally get the parts for a realistic price.
