Disconnect negative terminal of battery....help
Hi everybody,
Need some information on disconnection of the negative terminal of the battery.
Have put the Z to sleep last month since our first major snowfall. Lowered both window down a bit as per advice by some members and then disconnected the negative terminal of the battery.
Then, I was reading the owners manual the other day on battery(yes, I know I should have read it before disconnecting the negative), and found some instructions on disconnecting and reconnecting the negative terminal. It outlines steps to be taken. It does not even talk about lowering down the windows. It also warns that if done improperly, both the window and the side roof panel may be damaged....
Does anybody know what exactly are the proper procedures for disconnecting and reconnecting the negative terminal of the battery without causing damages?
By the way, I have checked with the local dealer who could not give me any satisfactory answer.
Thanks.
