Default 350z red

Hi Everyone,
I'm currently looking to buy a 350z (been looking for month now) and want to get a red 350z. I was wondering if you guys knew if the 2004 model had the same red color as the 2008. The reason I ask is because I went to look at a 04 and it was a real dark red. But when I look online and see pics of the 08 model, it looks a lot brighter (which I think looks better). I'd greatly appreciate your guys' advice. I can get a good deal on the 04, but like the head lights and rims on the 08. I know the engine is different as well. But my question is based on the color. And I was wondering if anyone could send me a pic link of front bumpers between the 04-05 to the 06+. I read they were modified, but can't get good pics to compare the both. I've looked to see the difference in front bumpers because the 08 seems to have a more curvy one (which i like better as well). Thanks in advance!

IMO, nogaro red (2008) doesn't look the greatest in direct sunlight, it looks almost pink.

I personally would go with the '08! Your basically telling us you like everything on the '08 more anyways!.. The '08 has more HP and a higher Revving/free flowing design.

Its a win/win over the '04

I prefer Redline over Nogaro Red. Redline was available until 2007 but was discontinued in 2008 (like Daytona Blue). I would get an 07 Redline if I were you.

get the 08 if you can. I do like the redline paint better thought. I just think with all the upgrades, the 08 is worth it..

buy my old Z (not mine anymore) and call it a day. Make an offer on it, worst the guy can say is no.

I've compared the two reds side by side, and I think that Nogaro Red is a much more exciting color. It's all subjective, so go with your gut. Personally, I think Redline is a bit drab; it reminds me of the red on my friend's PT Cruiser.

He will be hanging onto that Z for a longtime with a starting bid of 29K! The suspension Mods are lame as are the performance mods! Its basically all visual mods

Yea well it wasn't tracked or anything so it was a very nice comfortable weekend car, it handled very well. Not crazy stiff like coilovers, but it felt nimble enough with the adjustable sways and lowered enough. If the new owner wants to take it to the next level, the motor has low miles and so does the diff/gears. A nice intercooler showing through the front would make it perform as mean as it looks. Remember some of us had to pay for exterior enhancements, not all of us bought our cars with body kits stock.

The best advice I can give you is to go look at these colors in person. As with most cars, pics just don't do the paint justice. Reality may be far from what you perceived it to be from looking at pics online. I personally owned an 07 redline, so I'm biased when I say I prefer redline over nogaro.

+1 It looks good but it's not worth no where near 29K!

Even as a NISMO owner I think this is funny.

OP: Like above said, try to see them in person and decide for yourself!

I get compliments on my Nagaro red. It's quite bright and florescent like in the sun. I've seen redline and it looks nice too, though.
