Default I'm getting a new transmission for free

I have about 500 miles left on my 2007 enthusiast's warranty so I took it in this morning to have Nissan look at the transmission and they just called to say they are replacing it for free I'm going to have them put a new clutch in as well since the labor will be free. What clutch would guys recommend? It's my daily driver, I don't ever track it. I do a lot of spirited driving though. Need to figure this out soon so I can get it ordered. Thanks.

eBay clutch capable of holding over 1,200whp that works on 350z/g36/Honda Prelude/Ford Pinto.

Why did you get a free transmission btw?

Haha, that's excessive. I'm not sure why. I didn't ask him over the phone. I'm going to pick it up later today when they call me. I'll figure it out then and let you know. Seriously though, what's a good clutch?

Alright it looks like I'm going to go with the JWT. I guess I'm gonna have to get the flywheel as well huh....or should anyhow. Where do you guys recommend I get these parts? As I said, I'll tell you guys why they are replacing it when I find out more. All my symptoms were ones I commonly found on the forum. Transmission whines at lower speeds(or maybe that's the only time it's quiet enough to hear it). When I'm at a drive-thru and can hear the sounds bounce of the wall, if I'm in neutral and take my foot off the clutch I can hear it spinning/whining. As I engage the clutch I hear the noise slow down and stop.

Those symptoms sound more like the clutch and flywheel noises than a bad transmission.

That sounds very similar to the issues I'm having. I'll probably be taking it to a dealership Monday and see what they say.

You plan on a aftermarket clutch with the original flywheel? How many miles?
