There's an old mantra, or there should be one that states:

"Anyone can pick up a pencil and draw, but not everyone can make art"

This goes for automotive design as well. Anyone can go down to Pep Boys and buy some spinners, whack fog lights and whatever else they sell and install it, but not everyone can build and design a cool car. I believe this is 95% of the population.
