Carrying a firearm in your Z??
The one point that kills the entire anti-gun argument is this; there is almost 1 gun for every person in the united states, that is roughly 300 million guns. So in other words even if the anti-gun argument is correct, its TOO LATE.
I spent half my life in a very strict gun state with fingerprints and photograph registration just for a rifle; and guess what happened under those circumstances? All of my friends bought stolen or unregistered black market guns to avoid that BS. Think about how well that law worked; the law increased firearm theft, and left a lot of lawful people without guns - while the people who just didn't give a F bought black market guns.
I should also mention the fact that in Switzerland every man in the entire country has a fully automatic assault rifle in their house... thats right Canadians, FULL AUTO freakin assault rifle under the bed. Kind of messes up your anti-gun arguments correlation to violence huh? You ever think violence has more to do with poverty, bad education, and throwing 100's of different cultures into a boiling pot?

Doesn't kimber have a firing pin safety that everyone always complains about though? Have you had any experience with Kimbers?
btw - I bet you love that single action trigger on your new kimber compared to your glock huh? I hate glock triggers, even though I think the overall gun is awesome..

The minute you are pulled over and asked for DL and Reg. you must show your CHL and tell them where it is if asked.
Because in the business world, you must operate in a fashion that makes both your employees and your customers feel comfortable. I have had several, at least, employees, over the years that I would not be the least bit comfortable with carrying a firearm. No one is going to come in and rob us - we are not a cash business. Yes, we might have an employee, or even a customer, come in and start shooting up the place. I would put those odds at somewhere around a million to one against though. As well, it is every business owners prerogative as to whether to allow it - they can never pass a law that would override that IMHO. Nor should they.
So, I would ask anyone posting here : can YOU carry concealed at work? And that anyone would include you BTW.

I'm guessing you are the exception. Curious as to where you work though. My business is in a pretty nice neighborhood and the only crime around here has been people getting copper ripped out of their AC units.
edit- work in ATL GA

Kimber has some really nice models, I like their blacked out models like you got, I wish Colt could do that better, not impressed with the look of their new blackened XSE..

What firing pin safety do you speak of? I put about 150 rounds through it without any safety problems.
And thanks for the kind words
I like the Colt 1911's as well.
