4 things:

1)No where in the article does it say that these statistics are about 17 year olds. OP must be in his late 80's, and hence cant read or is suffering from some sort of mental issue in which he imagines things and believes them.

2)Im surprised that the Nissan Titan was the second most deadliest. Being a pretty heavy truck and all.

3) I wonder if the Nissan Titan death rates include those in trucks affected with the accelerator that would get stuck to the floor.

4)These statistics are really (not useless) but almost useless, taken out of context. And given that its only for vehicles from 2004 and up.

read something very similar about evo's, it's actually a number trick/form of coercion. Statistical lie.

I thought that was a Toyota problem.

I'd say the high death rate has several causes:

1) Zs are relatively inexpensive, putting them in reach of young, immature, and inexperienced drivers.

2) Zs will go very fast very easily.

3) Zs are smaller than the vast majority of vehicles on the road.

Default Most dangerous car

http://www.automotivetrends.info/top...used-vehicles/

Pretty interesting, but doesn't surprise me. Alot of inexperienced people drive our car and don't expect it to perform the way it really does I guess. Sorry if a repost, kindof hard searching for stuff on a phone.

If they'd attach the age to the 143 per million deaths attributed to the Z I'm sure the higher percentage would be those under 21

So we are #1, thats what I get from that article. The car is only as safe as the driver imo, and I'd have to agree with stein "the higher percentage would be those under 21".

There was no turn signal and if I hadn't hit the gas they could have clipped the front of my car sending me into a spin.

Damage was totally their fault, my passenger, the police and my insurance company told me I did nothing wrong. In a similar situation now I would probably hit 4th and try to get further away, there really is no solution to an idiot driving 80mph at a truck doing 60 in heavy traffic.

Thanks for calling me an idiot, would you do that in person to someone you had just met during your first conversation?
Yeah you're still an idiot, still sounds like you sped up to try and block the other guy and damaged your car in the process when you probably should've slowed down and totally avoided the situation.

You may not have been at fault, but you have terrible judgement.
