[QUOTE=winchman;9194537]I thought that was a Toyota problem.

I'd say the high death rate has several causes:

1) Zs are relatively inexpensive, putting them in reach of young, immature, and inexperienced drivers.

Here we go again. No mamen.

Anybody think that VDC which was available on some models from '06 would do anything to curb this number had it been on earlier Zs?

Um, VDC has been standard on most trim lines since inception in '03 - all but the base and enthusiast i believe?

Any car can put you in a body bag.

My best friend was killed in 2005 in a single car accident. He ran off the road, over corrected, flipped and was thrown out of the back windshield of the car.

And about the Titans... I know of a woman that is paralyzed from the neck down from flipping her Titan end over end.

Any car could, but some more than others. Speed is tempting and sports cars are more dangerous for young kids because of their inexperience and ability to say "NO".

Sorry about your friend.

I don't let people cut me off in the Z most of the time either; habit. Not road rage so much as that space that I leave between me and the car in front of me is not for them; it's my buffer zone.

Then again I also think ABS, VDC, and TCS are useless and the accidents caused by the Toyota sticking pedals were driver error. /shrug

Forgot mah popcornz

This is true; however, there are only a few trucks listed and none are in the same class. If you combine all three trim levels, because they really are the same truck, it would be more than double the amount of the 350z.

Statistics like this are such BS. There are so many ways to manipulate/present the data in a such a way that you can pretty much make any statement seem like "fact"
