Default considering 350z...

Hi all,

New to the board... have visited it a few times in the past for peeks of the 350z before they were released.

Anyways, I'm considering selling my M3. It's been quite the headache and dealing with dealerships and BMWNA over issues has had me quite distraught.

What's the availability of the 350z? track models coming out in a month? I've heard that the production is going to be quite large for this car so I'm sure availability will soon catch up to demand, correct?

Thanks, I'll try and read up on the reviews... in the meantime I think you'll like this pic I took at the local Nissan dealership.

cheers,
-loki

I have an 01 M3 atm and not sure on the hassle you are getting, havent had even a tiny problem with mine yet and the dealer has been nothing but nice. In the end a Z doesn't really compare to a ///M, but it shouldnt considering the price differences.

What sort of troubles are you having with the M?

Default I had a '02 CArbonblk M3

Not sure if ya remember me from the roadfly board, but i had a '02 CArbonBlk/Cinnamon M3 that I sold and now have a performance package 350Z.. To say the least the 350Z is a great buy for the money, people thought i paid more for it then my Bimmer *chuckles* anyhow, think of the Z as an M3 without the backseats and 8000rpm redline.

Unabageler, you mean you have time to surf other boards in between all that **** you watch?

Well, *ASIDE* from the new engine baven (#36 for those keeping count), I've had several warranty items denied because of the dealer doesn't feel they are covered under warranty. I'm not going to spew the laundry list of items in an unrelated forum but suffice to say I'm not a happy camper when it comes to spending $60k and having a car with continued quality control problems.

The car is great to drive when it's working mind you, but the quality and the dealer/BMWNA support hasn't deserved their precious "5 star rating".

I tell you one thing, I do miss the great customer service I got with my local Honda dealership, Marin Honda. Top class folks there... BMWSF/BMWNA should take note.
