Ebay buyers beware
I was shopping for a Borla dual exhaust and found these two ads.

I emailed the seller this note:

What is the difference between the two Borla exhaust systems you are selling for the 350Z? I notice one has an H-pipe (to replace the stock Y-pipe).

There is no difference, they are the same product. I have two ads running at the same time.

I replied thus:

wrong. there is a difference, I recieved my answer over the weekend from Borla. One is a bolt on true dual system, the other is a bolt on single input dual output system (like stock). You had better not give bad advice to potential buyers on Ebay, I would be pretty upset to buy that system and find out after the fact the difference!

His reply:

Thanks for the advice. Please dont purchase any products from my company. Being a dealer with Borla and being in charge of ebay ads I think we know a little more than you.

I told him I wouldnt be buying from him and that I would pass his advise along to my "friends"

 

With great customer service like that, he should be in business for a long time.


BTW, you didn't copy any of the links correctly. None of them work.

 

Damn, he should know better than to try something like that. WAY too many Z forums around now--we will find out.

wow, I screwed up the links on my email to him. I guess it is a possibility that he was unable to link and got confused as well. However, it is strange that he pulled the ads between when I emailed him and now...about an hour later.

 

when you first posted this thread....only one of the links was working (cause i went right to it)....now they both don't work.
