why i that? alot of people dont like the spoiler? or is it just an expensive option?

 

can u get the rear spoiler on the base model 350z? and does the base only come in 6spd?

 

I dont have it cause I dont really like spoilers. but the stock one is starting to grow on me. Base only comes in 6-speed but with this car...its so much fun manual.Track model is the only one that comes with spoiler. I think some of the vendors here can get u a spoiler ..I think I saw one for 130 or so.

 

you can add the spoiler as an option. tho Im not sure but I want to say you cannot add that option to a base(just whats popping into my head). but that seems silly; so Im not sure.

its like a 500$ option or something, it includes the rear spoiler and the front lip. for overall 0 lift.

I didnt get it cause it wasnt on the car. didnt really care to have it or not have it. Im alright without it. my car hasnt taken off like an airplane yet, and its not a huge asthetic peice either.

 

i hate that spoiler... look like.. like.. sunroof visor

 

i thought the z looked better without it, so i didn't get it. now it's kind of growing on me. i may buy one and add it on.

I didn't like it when I bought my Z, and now that I've seen it in person, I still prefer the Z without the spoiler (although not as strongly as before). I guess that means it's grown on me somewhat...

I still don't like that little thing that Nissan calls a spoiler. I liked the Nismo spoiler better, although even that has had to wait until recently (when I've seen a couple in person) to grow on me. Still too "young" for me, though.

 

The little Nissan comes standard on the Track model. It is a $400 option on other models (too much in my opinion). In Los Angeles, it seems almost every Touring model has it installed as an option. I like mine.

 

My Z's a Base model and came from the dealer with the spoiler. I love the spoiler, personally I think the Z looks a bit too plain without it.

 

i didnt like it in the beginning either. it almost looked like an afterthought. now it has grown on me too. now the main reason i havent gotten one is that they dont make them for the roadster.

 

Got mine for free... It was the sealer to the deal... and i have the BASE Model, so you can add it as an option... i just didn't pay extra for it... ( also got the cargo net & Floor mats Free)

I like it because its subtle... although there are some really nice aftermarkets... im content with my Free Rear Spoiler

For me, I didn't care for it enough to pay for it. Also, the one that the dealer ordered which happened to basically be what I wanted didn't have it. No biggie.

With my Maxima on the other hand, something really looks missing without it and I'd contemplated getting the OEM wing installed. But now I might sell it... hmm...

 

IMO - I like the lines of the Z without the spoiler, I think the Z looks more refined, maybe exotic even without it - I don't have it on my Performance model, considered it and thought I'd wait until after I got my car, it's my understanding the spoilers are installed at the port anyhow (not factory installed) so why not wait until later - - really glad I waited.

 

Ga2000 from the org? if its you did you swap ou the Specv for the Max for good? On the 350 it really doesnt make a drastic difference so my wife and I decided we will pass.
