Hey everyone, just wondering if anyone knows how to or of a site I can run the VIN of my Z and see if any of the recalls for that year apply to my car? I have a check engine light problem that after researching sounds like it may be related to a recall from the '03 Z's. Thanks!

 

If you go to the tab where it has discussion forum at the top of the page. Then click the tab that has TSB and RECALLS you can find what you are looking for there. Just remember that recalls are free and tsb you have to pay for if you have no warrenty.

 

Thanks for that! The main question I have is if the recall applies to my Z exactly? Is that something I have to call to find out or does anyone have a way of running my VIN for that themselves?

 

dang, no 2006 for recalls but plenty of tsb's.

Just did a search on my 08 MT Z. Could this TSB be the reason why my Z sometimes while idling goes from normal 600 rpm to 250 rpm and then shoots back up to 1000 rpm all of a sudden? The engine will do this over and over sometimes a minute or so apart w/o the AC on. When it does it the engine sounds like it's about the stall and sputters. Only lasts a second or so.
