Default Got into an accident today in my Z

Soo I've had my brickyard for a month and got rear ended this morning. Wonderful.

I was headed to work and was sitting in traffic right off the Marietta square just two minutes from work and this Lexus just slams into my rear end at like 25 mph.

It caused me to hit the woman in front of me as well.

Well I ended up taking all the damage as I was the tiny little car in between the two small SUV's. So yay me.

The damage is on the front bumper (cracked it the f*** up) the hood will need repainted, the rear hatch will have to be replaced as its lifted up from it's normal sitting. The rear bumper lights on the right side will have to be replaced and the rear bumper is cracked and torn up from hell to back.

How long would you guys say it'll be out to be fixed? I know that's a stupid question, but I'm a girl and I know a bit about cars, not about cars when they're all crunched up in a shop lol.

Depends on where you take it. I have a great body shop in Roswell that works on high end cars that you could take it too. They have a pretty fast turn around and do excellent work.
If you are interested, let me know

Oh yeah, I guess pics would help huh? I'm used to looking at the pics, not posting

I'll add some later, I'm at work. But I was thinking about three weeks.

I was a good 8 feet back, the woman in front of me hit her brakes too so I was just the unlucky one with grandma behind me with a slow reaction time. lol

The grandma in the Lexus, her insurance is paying

Glad you're okay, can you possibly see this happening now? Possibly carbon fiber hatch/hood

There was just a thread this morning of a member getting rear ended.

I was rear ended by a hummer 3 months ago. Same situation as you. Hit the car in front as well. There are hidden damages under the rear bumper and possibly the front bumper you can count on that.

My car was out for 1 1/2 months because the initial repair was $4,700, but grand total turned out to be $9,700. So a lot of it was a waiting game with the insurance company to approve of the extra fees.

Look at this thread for reference.

Sorry these are so huge, I don't know how to make them smaller.
This is just the right rear where most of the damage is done. The second is the hatch right above the driver door. I couldn't get better pics with this crappy cell phone camera.

Thanks dude, I think there are going to be hidden damages with this just because the way the hatch is sitting, it looks weird in person... I only paid $9600 for this car so hopefully I don't get screwed.

It doesn't look bad! I'm not a fan of the spoiler tho.. I like a CF hood, but my hood's good, just need a new paint
