Default smells fishy

My car has shown up on dealer inventory since aug28, but nothing happend until last thursday, my dealer called me to go in and sign some paper work. when i got there only a blue Z (mine is sliver) showed up at the show room. i asked where mine was, the dealer anwsered its probably at port, or the warehouse and i can't pick it up until monday. After i talked to some worker at the service center on friday, i found out that the dealer lied to me, my car actually arrived on the same day as the blue one, and its been locked up in the prep center, so i asked if i can see the car, but they didn't allow me to. now i'm wondering what are they doing to my car, does it take them 4 days to prep the car? and why couldn't the dealer tell me the car is in the prep center?

Someone's been driving your Z hahaa!!!!

Dude - I'd be ready to crack skulls and take names.

When your survey comes from Nissan tell the dealer that you are going to inform them of your experiencs

Doesn't take 4 days to prep a car. Hopefully there isn't a problem with the car that they are trying to fix (and pretend it was never there). I'd check the paint over very carefully when you pick it up. Sounds like it needed a little paint touch up & time for the paint to cure.... I sure hope not. I told my dealer to call me as soon as the truck drives up with my Z. I'm sure if he saw a problem with it he'd be very hesitant to call me. In your case, I see very little need to do 'any' type of paperwork if the car is not there and able to be driven away.... You're right, smells a bit fishy to me also...

I'd ask for an explaination! There isn't any good reason that you couldn't even SEE the car for four days. I'd demand to see the car and tell them they had better come clean if something was wrong since you will be having a paint/bodywork expert friend of yours closely examine the car to be sure they was no "cover up".

I don't like it... I hope that you don't end up gettin' screwed...

I would check the paint and the mileage as soon as they 'release' it to you... If things look creepy, you are entitled to ***** like there's no tomorrow...

good luck, man...

I fear the worst and they smashed it up a little. Get over their and make serious demands to see the car. Tell them you know it's there and if they don't show it to you then threaten a with lawyer up your sleeve. Do it tomorrow/Sunday though. And they cannot offer it to someone else unless you turn the car down.

If it is/was smashed I would not accept it. Sucks though.
