Some Quick Questions for New Z Owners...
1) Do you have to manually unlock the driver's door from inside before opening it from the inside or does it just open when you pull the handle whether it is locked or not?
2) Does the radio stay on after you turn off the ignition until you open the door?
3) Do the headlights automatically cutoff after you leave the car?
4) How good is the automatic climate control? In my Acura, I constantly have to adjust the temp up and down. I hope that isn't the case here....
5) Do the interior lights come on when you unlock the doors from the keyfob?
6) Does the car honk or beep or anything when you lock the car by the keyfob?
Thanks for your answers!

The second mode only has the hazard lights flash and no horn honks. I prefer this mode by far.

You know who would think about opening the door while the car is moving? ME! I liked to fiddle with the handles as a kid, and once, in a rental car, I accidentally opened the door while my dad was on the freeway. Of course, I couldn't actually open the thing, I wasn't strong enough to overcome the passing air, but I did manage to unlatch it.
Ever since then, I've always thought that having the doors open like that was kind of a dumb idea.
Never underestimate human stupidity.

The headlights automatically shut off a few minutes after you remove the key. You can override this by turning them on again, then they will stay on.
I've never had to unlock the door from the inside, I just open the handle. (I thought the doors locked automatically when driving, but I'll have to double check that.)

I'm concerned about all kinds of things. Frankly we're running out of new things to talk about regarding the car....
Still, I think at least the driver's dorr should be able to be opened without unlocking first. We had several Fords in the past then discovered other cars don't do this. Kind of annoying, especially when the switch is not near the door handle. As I said, thankfully that is not the case with the Z. I wish the car manufacturers would listen though....
