refunds always go to the shipper.

They (courrier) dont know it was a sale .

Shipper pays for shipping, they are the customer.
AGreed tho.. im a firm believer on every one of these gigs that theres an untold side of the story.
Just like vendor bash threads.. dunno.

Hope not, or angry mob will incite.

BMC is right, the shipper is the one who insured it, they get the cash back. The original cash is between the buyer and the vendor.

The person receiving the shipment usually can't even file a claim, iirc.

Everything that I posted above is EXACTLY what happened. Nothing more, nothing less. Yes, Dustin was a good guy before the whole mess with Fedex losing my package. He sent the extra pics that I requested. Blah, blah, blah. But the fact of the matter here is that Fedex paid out MY claim to him since August 3rd. Every indication points out that he has bad intentions. I truly believe anybody else would've reacted a lot sooner than I did. And again, I did give him the benefit of the doubt. Everything is on the table, Dustin. It's all up to you now.

One thread is enough.

I have spoken to Tehkmob and have asked for a confirmation of a few things but will PM you my findings.

Again, in the future rather than making a thread a more effective way is to PM a moderator..

My apologies Waizzz; notated for future reference. But as I've been saying all along, I just want what is rightfully mine. This mess wouldn't have surfaced if he just returned my calls and text messages.

I'm looking at this logically.

tehkmob
- 481 posts
- 18 trades with excellent rep

Rockstar350
-118 posts
-2 trades

Why would someone with so much credibility on the forums as a trader risk his rep by screwing over another member of the same forum for 2700 bucks KNOWING that it would come out?

What I see are three probabilities.

A. Tehkmob got the refund from FedEx, pocketed said refund along with the original monies sent by Rockstar350 and walked with a profit of 2700 bucks not including the original cost of the lights.

B. Tehkmob got the refund but had an emergency that took him to Peru to study the ancient Nasca Lines and in the interim and has been incommunicado since.

C. Rockstar350 had someone step in, sign for the package (or signed for it himself with an alias), kept the lights and hoped that Tehkmob would "do the right thing" by sending him the money from Fedex to cover the original cost thereby allowing Rockstar to have his lights and the money originally paid for them as well, or in other words, to get his new lights for free.

Of all three, option A is the least likely to me but hey, there are a lot of idiots in this world and many of them would cut off a toe to make a buck so who knows? I hope it all works out for the one that's being honest about this, whomever you are.

Just my wife and I that lives in my house. In any case, I didn't authorize for anyone to sign for my packages.

All three of your theories make perfect sense... if they were tied to someone "new" to this forum. I've been a member of this forum since 2008. Let me throw more theories out there since we're on the subject. I'm 31, happily married, have a couple of mortgages, and make $70k+/yr... do the math, I have no reasons to "cheat" anyone out of their hard-earned money.
