Telling someone "search noob" is pointless because most threads start off with "I searched but didn't find anything...."

Besides, I didn't search either. I just started browing through the titles from the first couple of pages of the index to find these gems.

It's the fundamental problem of everybody being too lazy to do even the smallest amount of leg work. They want the answer served up like they had just searched on Google for "where is Madagascar".

This question doesn't have a black and white answer. It's all about personal preference, goals and a budget. How is anybody else supposed to know those subjective factors about YOU? If you don't do the research and make your own decisions how on earth do you expect to be happy with the end result?

Please don't use the excuse "I was looking for ideas...". There are dozens of FAQs, picture threads and popular threads that give you enough starting points to figure out where you want to go and what you want to do. Once you browse through the help and info that's already there, you'll narrow down your questions to specifics that everybody will be happy to answer and allow you to avoid the flamage and trolling that occurs.

Believe it or not, we try to make it easy on your guys. For example, did you look at the Sticky thread at the top of this forum titled ">>> Quick index to common/popular threads. Noobs read this before posting! <<< ". It has a section pointing to Modification threads. What about the New Member Welcome Message?
