Arghhhhh, Hard Water Lime Spot
Ok so I park my Z in my apt complexe's garage parking. I guess I came back late and didn't notice there was a drip on the hood. Now there is a hard water stain, spot, mark, whatever. I can tell it is on top of the paint. I do have a layer of wax.
How do I get rid of it?
I would think washing with Palmolive or other detergent might remove the spot and the wax?
What about using a mild acid like vinager, just rinse with copious amounts of water as soon as the spot is gone?
Please, I need suggestions.
TIA

You can use a clay bar like the one Zaino Bro's sell

When I was selling my pickup to get the Z, I tested the clay bar and it worked very well to get rid of hard water stains.
Unfotunately, it will also remove all the wax or polish on the car, so you will need to put on more coats of that when you finish with the bar.
