im not trying to be cheap, i just dont have 2 grand to spend on parts and labor.....thats why test pipes are a good price for what you get out of them, id understand if hfc were like 200-300 dollars but 400-500 is a little ridiculous, and honestly the 2 best sounding exhausts ive heard were the motordyne and the magnaflows, im probably getting magnaflows next summer....nismo is cool i guess but it just seems too oem for me

oh yea, it does sound great and so did my AP ti, but its not a very practical exhaust for a DD, on the other hand, if this is your weekend car, then yes, but it sounds to me like this is his dd. NISMO parts IMHO is the best for a DD, because one....its not to loud, two....its not over the top. Its just enough power and sound to do the job on the street as a DD. idk...i just dont like to hear all the exhaust while im driving 400 miles to the beach or 10 miles to the mall lol, everyone has there own thing

I live in a area where there are plenty of Z'S,many running different exhaust systems.I don't have to go with sound clips to hear the difference. All in all
the NISMO is the best in sound &quality.A great buy for the $$.

IMO it is to loud for a DD, but if thats your thing then go with it. I myself do drive alot during the week and i dont like getting headaches driving from point A to point B because of a exhaust. Thats how my AP Ti exhaust made me feel every time i went around town driving and the interstate was god awful. Ive read the the Motordyne is too loud or put off to bad of a drone and then again i have read that it doesnt. SO each to his own i guess. Nismo for me right now untill i get a cheap DD or whatever

I agree on the Nismo setup.I have a S-tune catback/R-tune headers on my Z.

To each their own, a few extra ponies yet you have to drive more carefully and have a stank garage. I'd rather have a quiet car minus a few ponies and enjoy it without having to worry about cops smelling the stench, getting on the freeway drawing all attention to me, or waking up the entire neighborhood when I get home with a louder exhaust. Then again SoCal is probably the most strict of all the other states with emissions regulations.

Rasp, can be fixed, or at least is lowered with the right test pipes..APS....dont cheap out and wont be as bad. Two, I have no emissions. Three, loudness is based on driving, no drone with them like my old Borla on my corvette on hwy was terrible. Lastly, gas semll comes and goes rarely unles I have th windows down. But my garage never stinks, and due to making proper non-fouls have never thrown a code????? ALSO, gasket selection, install and prep is crucial to cut down on said rasp......just my $.02
