I honestly don't know why people are so damn concerned about top speed. There are 27+ questions I would ask before I would even think about asking that...

 

Was at Auto Zone (mind you) for a diagnostic check for the check engine light so after he was done we went inside for the print out, the guy asked 'what is the make and model of that car?' I bit my tongue not to laugh.

And which model Porsche is that?

 

I get asked all the time "what's the top speed?"
I'm getting tired of it, so the other day when a kid at my brother's high school asked, I told him it only went 90

Not a dumb question but a fun conversation.

Older guy looks over at his 20 something girlfriend and says "I had a Porsche like that back in the day." Girlfriend, "Uh baby, that's a Z." Older guy, "Oh, so how much power does it have?" Me, "525 at the wheels, like to see?" Girlfriend to Older guy, "baby, you'll lose." Older guy was driving a Carrera 4s.

 

That's awesome!! Makes me want to turbo my Z even more than I already do..... Must... resist.....

 

"Why are you putting premium gas in?"
"Because thats what your supposed to put in."
"Whats the difference? your stupid for paying extra for gas. It all burns the same."

Mind you, she was in the car and watching me shift.

 

My mom always yells at me when I put premium gas in her G35. I don't listen and just carry on.
I hate it when people don't use premium fuel when the car requires it

My stock 06 Z was in the very 1st parking spot at a bar & grill and this older guy came up to me and said "that's a 350z right?" I told him yes and he said his son was tring to tell him it was a Toyota. I was kinda offended at first lol but maybe he thought it was a supra?

Most people's first question is what's the top speed.. I just tell them fast

 

I haven't, but then again, I've only had it for 4 months.

 

not exactly my Z, but
when i was shopping for my Z and visit a dealer
the sales insist that 06 coupe i was looking at was a 10.... and said 10 was the last year they produce Z coupe... i asked for the carfax, and it said 06 on it.... a god damn sales at nissan dealership...

and then when i was getting engine oil and oil filter for my Z at auto zone,
this sales asked if mine was supercharged, i told him it's stock, and then he said, "yea, some come with supercharger stock too!" and the sales proceed to grab me a wrong oil filter that wouldn't fit in a Z...

 

I had a chick ask me why I took out the back seat

my girlfriend asked if i could take her dog to the vet in my Z. it's nice leather.....i'm single now
