Dumbest question ever for me was when I was leaving a bar after my brother's bachelor party, and I had my wife come to pick me up in the Z as I wasn't fit to drive... I'm standing on the curb outside the bar as she pulls up and he goes "Wow sweet ride! What mods do you have?" I started listing all of the mods: intake, exhaust, headers, plenum spacer, and before I can finish he cuts me off and asks "yeah, but does it have a chip?" I laughed and said no, that most chips don't really do anything and that an ECU flash and tune with supporting mods will more effectively show real hp and tq gains. He looks at me like I'm retarded and says "Whatever man, I gotta buddy who put a chip in his civic and he got like 200 hp from it!" I just started laughing and hopped in the passenger seat.

I was walking at a car meet in, and some dude had like 3 ghetto looking guys talking about his car. I overhear them talking about how :

1: he shaved the heads on the vq at his house....
2: how lightweight his 22s were.. .
3: that the chip he has gave 58 horsepower
4. How he was going to get slick tires for said 22s

And more that I can't rememeber...

I understand that not everyone knows about cars in general but some people really crack me up.

Not really a dumb question but I've been asked multiple times if its a 370.

I've been asked if its a boosted V4 lol

And the second is just kind of a pet peeve. but the whole "how fast does it go?" thing gets to me especially when you know they're talking about HP not speed and they're not to knowledgeable on the topic anyways.

Some of these Crack me up, mostly because I've heard most of them before.

I have Vertical Doors inc. kit on my car, and at car shows I've had multiple people ask me if 350's come like that from the factory. I tend to tell them it does, but I pulled the V-12 in favor of the V-6.

 

Lmao pulling a V12 for a V6 is like a chick with a perfect *** and ***** getting a reduction. I'm not in favor of vertical doors but looking at your Z is changing my opinion.

 

Those pictures are almost 3 years old too.. it looks much different now. I wouldn't have the doors on it if I didn't show it, they are kind of a pain in the ***. One guy closed the door without putting it down all the way first and obliterated my pillar, had to replace both door panels for the same reason. Now I don't accept passengers except my wife.... and she has been thoroughly trained.

 

I went thru a Taco Bell drive thru and the guy asked me ..

"Is that a 360C?"

Uh what?!???
