Default Help me decide which model year to get

I saw two extremely nice Z recently. One is an '05 model and the other one is an '08 Z. Of course the latter one cost a bit more. I tested drove the '05 model but haven't gotten around to the '08. Which one is less bumpy on the road? I own a BMW x-6 and it's pretty rough in the city especiallyl when I go over small humps on the road.

I LOVE my '08. Does ride a bit rough, but that's an easy fix with some aftermarket suspension. I actually just took off the potenza tires on it (rated for only 20k miles) and put on Michelin Pilot Sport PS2s and it rides 200x better

And don't forget it still might be under warranty.

it has 50K miles on it so I think the warranty may have expired.

BTW the car goes for $17K...Is it too good to be true? I'm getting it from a dealer (not nissan) and I was told to get warranty for only $350 a year. The package exclude tranny and engine but cover everything else like suspension, brake pad, etc. I cant test drive the car cuz it's 500 miles from me but it only cost $200 to ship.

At 50K miles and it's super cheap compared to other 08 Z. Can someone tell me why it's so inexpensive?

In a blind driving test doubt if anyone could tell the difference in comfort.

I got mine at 18k in the beginning of summer with full warranty until about 68k...I'm on 22k....

Maybe they want it gone because it's been there for a while...I have no complaints whatsoever with my Z...and it looks like you're getting it for a good price...dish a few extra $ and bring a nissan tech with you and look it over before you buy

Depends how the car was driven..HWY miles? and how it was taken care of (not modded or raced). 50K mi mainly on the HWY is NOTHING on a car like this. BTW..the Trim makes a difference as well. Base vs Enthusiast or touring? My story..I just got an 08 Touring MT with 37K mi for 20K even and I considered that a great deal. So, 17K for this car is about as cheap as you can get for an 08.

There's a difference between riding in a Z (or how it should feel "normally") and how it feels with dry track condition tires going down a cobblestone street everyday to work. I changed out only the tread and it was like I put a whole brand new suspension system in it
