Default Inherited 350z, what model is it?

So I inherited a 350z, and love it of course. Its registered at the local nissan as a "Base 350z", however, it has leather electric seats and steering controls. Its an 06 and i think its a touring. Thought I'd get an expert analysis.

Did you look through this thread...

https://my350z.com/forum/buying-leas...0z-models.html

If a Nissan dealer look into their system and saw that it's "birth certificate" says Base, then that's what it started as. People have changed out lots of parts so sometimes it's hard to tell what the car was originally.

Important question, do the steering wheel controls actually do anything? Do you have a TCS or VDC off button?

i can assure you that it has been the same as it is now since it was bought new from nissan 5 years ago. Didn't add leather seats or steering wheel controls or electric seats. Yes they control the BOSE system and i have a TCS off button.

Then it's not a base. Enjoy the car.

Brembo Brakes + Leather Seats + Wheel Upgrade (18"F 19"R) = Grand Touring
Nissan Brakes + Leather Seats + 18"F/R "Standard Wheels" = Touring

um, no congrats from me man haha.

im sure the OP would rather have the family member who passed away around still instead of a used 350z.

Guess thats just how i see it, unless its some old uncle you never knew that though you were a sweel great kid last time he saw you back in 1983 or something. otherwise, sorry for your loss etc.
