Default Bye bye 350z! It was nice while it lasted

I bought my 350z brand new in 2006. Although we had some issues at the beginning, it was a good car. The engine had to be replaced at 20k miles, but since, I had no issues. I have always liked BMWs as well. Last week I found a M3 with the color combination that I like, and a price that I couldn't resist. Just wanted to say hi to all of you and assure you that my Z will be missed.

lol.. there you go... these are the only pics I have so far =) The car is 2005. I wanted to get an SMG, but had to settle with a 6 speed... White with black interior are hard to find.. I waited almost a year before I found it ! Oh.. and my insurance went down $100 every 6 months.... weird right.....

I was considering the exact same thing, even looked at a few this weekend. How do you like it compared to the Z?

I was looking at M3's before I got the Z, but the Z was cheaper
That body style M3 and the one right before it are the only BMW's I would ever buy:thumb up: Congrats

The E46 M3 is absolutely gorgeous, but like BigRez said, be glad you got a 6spd!

Thank you! so far I'm loving the car. It feels completely different than the Z. The Z feels like a quick compact car, when driving the M3, you feel like you are driving a rally race car. I love it. My Z was in very good condition, but I can tell you that the M3 is in the same condition if not better than my Z was. The interior is beautiful, you can tell this was a 50k + car when new. I'm planning on getting the CSL rims and also need new breaks.... so I'm sure I'll have to spend a few grand on that. I have not been able to drive the car too much, I picked it up last Thursday and I have been working every day since, but I find every excuse to get out of the house lol..... peace

Fill us in on how much it costs to fix the things that break and they will break. Last repair a buddy had on his was around $950 for a passenger air bag sensor for the passenger seat.

Regardless, I love the M series. Power to ya if you got the $$ to keep it maintained! Bring on the mods...
