Default "Z" Garage

Unfortunately, it's that time of year again up here in New York. I put the Z to sleep yesterday. It has a nice home though.

Everything on the wall was done at work. White cut vinyl makes up the Z silhouette and marketing motto from 2003. The bottom panels are digitally printed direct to 3mm komatex (sintra). The Z parking zone sign is also digitally printed direct to 3mm sintra.

The clock was picked up at a garage sale and I took it apart to make what you see. It's digitally printed on 3M 180C. I recreated the Z speedometer in Illustrator and fitted it to size. The clock hands are wrapped in black and white vinyl.

Pretty sharp,buddy!
Its a shame you guys "up north" have to put your cars up for the winter.
I don't know if I could put up with that.
I guess a positive of living in the south is we are...year around!
Doing any mods over the winter?

I know . The withdrawal feeling didn't hit me until I was on my way home from the DMV last week. It's okay though. Just looks, nothing performance wise.

rear wiper delete. spray painting the interior headliner, visors and sunglass holder/lights matte black. I saw another member on here do it and it makes it look sharp imo. I also sat in a 2011 370Z 2 weeks ago and that also has a black headliner. that definitely made my decision final.

Just some smaller things getting wrapped in vinyl on the interior. Struts for the hood. Maybe sometime next year, hopefully, upgrade to 06+ headlights. Maybe spacers as well. It all depends. I have 2 other vehicles and a house to take care of as well.

The clock looks good. I'll buy it, if you make another one.

I'll keep you in mind if I find another one like it. The file is saved so I'll just have to adjust it to fit.

I found them on ebay for cheap. The model company is AutoArt and they are high quality. I've been wanting to get some more but just too expensive to pay retail.

I have another one in the other corner of the garage, underneath the clock. They are both 1:18 scale. The smaller ones are just Matchbox versions. Silver/gray colors are my favorite!

Great looking set up!! I am happy as well that we don't have to store anything in Georgia, but it will feel so good the first nice day you can drive it.

I still can't find the silverstone roadster with the orange seats. I'm willing to pay good money (seriously, upwards of $2) for one!

EDIT: Oh and the garage is superb.

Very nice setup. You guys definitely get the snow in 'Cuse, I'm only about an hour and a half north of you and we didn't get all that much
Thinking i might be a rebel and stay on the road until the end of November, play by ear...

Thanks Ix350xI! It's another thought for maybe down the road.

At least I won't have to worry about buying it though haha.
