I was approaching the light attempt to make a left turn. The light turns yellow and I steer too much to the left. The driver side wheels ran up and down the divider. I got home and inpect my car with the flashlight.....found scratches on the wheels. Everything else is okay. I'm so mad at myself.

How much does it cost to repair a pair of curbed wheels?

 

Usually $60-$200 depending on shop and size/amount of damage
On a side note, now may be the time to get them hi-polished or chromed

 

Ouch...How about some nice new wheels for X-mas?

 

they repaired my front rim (bent it a bit) and it looks great for under 300. i can't imagine that scratches would be more.

 

thanks guys. My wheels are not bent. Just badly scratched on the rim. I'll probably take some picture tomorrow. bad day.

Bertg, I have 18" stock wheels....not planning to change it.

 

I just curbed my left front wheel. I went through Wendy's drive through for lunch and got a little bit too close to the first window. fortunately its not scratched too bad, but i'll be going in from now on.

 

Wheels America will fix the wheel for $109. They have flat pricing. for the money they will strip the wheel, fix all metal damage, check that it is true, and re-powder coat it.

I just sent them a wheel but I haven't got it back yet. I know some silvers are hard to match and some people have comlpained about the color match. But nobody in the US can match the color of some wheels (like my G35 wheels). But they can get pretty darn close.

If they don;t match my color close enough I will just get the back wheel on that side refinished to match.

 

Not sure on your location, but in Baltimore some guy was doing them for $150 each. They almost look like chrome when theyre finished

 

Can they fix a curb damage on a forged wheel, like Volks?
