Debating selling my NISMO.... HELP!!
ok, heres my dilemma. i have a gorgeous MB 07 NISMO 350Z. i love the car to death and enjoy the comments i get from it. i dont necessarily WANT to get rid of it.... BUT i spend a good chunk of cash each month on the bill for it. if i didnt have to pay for the Z then i could afford ALOT more house. and right now i dont even have a garage to keep it in which makes me feel bad about leaving it outside. im looking at buying a new house and if i sell the Z and go with a cheaper sports car, then i can build a car and have a BIG GARAGE to build in.
here is my Z:
and one shot of my car at Roebling Road HPDE:
I know for sure that if i sell the Z that im buying something else.... ive even looked at getting a gts-t r33 skyline. i love doing HPDE's and im starting to think i want to go back to drifting. i refuse to drift the nismo and total it.
So what do you guys think i should do? the big thing is that i really would like a new house with a big shop to work in.

yeah true. its just hard to decide to let her go. right now i can comfortably make the payments and i still have the money to buy the house.... BUT if i do that then i would basically lose all my car parts money and money to go to the track.... which i LOVE. but yeah i assume if i go with a cheaper car then i can make it a dedicated track car and keep it in my new big garage!!
its just so dang hard to let this car go!... maybe ill just cut back to an 03 Z and gut it....

Its on 07 , you have had it for 3 to 4 years then. Should almost be payed off , just keep it and use it.

I kinda am rearranging how I think a little. I've been so die-hard car guy for so long that nothing else mattered.... But I feel guilty for leaving the car outside. And I want more room to really work on projects.
Also I could be interested in trades for an 03 z. But there would have to be a nice stack of cash behind it.

Well I was originally gonna buy a gtst before I found the nismo. As long as you have cash to work with, they aren't that expensive. Usually an r33 gts-t costs 17k to import. If your ever interested, go with blackops performance. They are great people!
Plus its not that I can't keep he nismo and buy a house... It's just that my funds would stretch a little more thin and take up a good chunk of my playing money. And when I do HPDE's it gets more expensive bc I tow my car down and get a hotel if its any farther than Road Atlanta and buy race tires. And my durango SUCKS GAS! Lol.

If I were you I would keep the Nismo because that car is super clean and I would have to swoop it if you did sell it. As for parking it outside, you're gonna laugh but you should look into those outdoor garages that are like tents or just even cover it when you're not using it, it's a pain but that all depends on how much you care about the paint. Personally I would say stretch your funds and just take it easy on the "playing money" and just enjoy your Nismo on the street for awhile
