make sure you top off the blinker fluid before doing any downshifting... if you dont it could be very very bad

. Might wanna check your wiper belts too, those tend to snap during intense downshifting.

I believe if you downshift any transmission it gets louder.... if not there's something wrong.

oh and dont forget that when u downshift to slam into the nearest pole and the car will get very loud! along with all passengers

My buddy had an 2000 eclipse w/ tiptronic mode. Whenever I tried to downshift, it would automatically shift back up.

I've got a question:

If I am going 60to in auto mode and I switch over to the automanual (or what ever you wanna call it) should I let off the gas when I switch over?

Also, once in automanual mode do I need to let off the throttle when I go up/down a gear?
