If you downshift with the tiptronic transmission will the car rev loudly? Just wondering haha Thanks

Hypothetical example. If your doing 15mph and in say 3rd gear and your rpms are at say 2500. And you shift down to 2nd gear while remaining at 15mph (assuming there is no slowing down due to the downshift) your 2nd gear rpms will go to about 4000.Because your 2nd gear will have to spin and complete a full rotation faster than the 3rd gear would = higher rpms/revs = more noise (usually).

Hope that helps.

I suggest learning how transmissions work etc before attempting anything. I started at the age of 7 on need for speed video games. Give it a shot.

WTF is your car doing at 4000 in second going 15? mine would be doing 2000 give or take....


also to the need for speed transmission learning...

Im canadian, my speedo is in kms, converting to mph is confusing sometimes. and it was hypothetical i just picked nice easy numbers that were easy to understand.

While doing 70 on the highway, shift down to 2nd. You'll hear your engine very loud and clear.
