Pretty cool. Just in time for Christmas. Bought the car 3 months ago, but I figured there were no copies left by now. Video was pretty good, they sure picked the right color for Prague.

 

I bought my car in july and i got my copy of the run last week. I saw it and i enjoyed it, but its pretty boring if you ask me.

 

Bought mine in Sept., just got my DVD last week, kinda cool...

Better than the buyback letter I got from Mazda when I bought my RX-8, but then again, hmm......

I got mine in the a few days ago (bought my Z at the end of Aug 03). I assume you'll be getting one too from the letter that it came with.

This makes my 3rd copy (got 2 already while at HIN long ago, one for me, one for a coworker).

 

Ditto. Drove mine off the lot July 31, 2003 and received my copy while I was in Germany sometime in the last 2 weeks.

Better late than never. I never have gotten a survey of my buying experience though. Anybody else?

 

I got my copy of 'The Run' last week or so and got my Z on July 16th. I got the buying experience survey afew days before I got 'The Run'.

My thoughts on 'The Run'? Glad you asked.. lol, I thought it sucked lol. The best part of the DVD is the extra's where they show different shots of the LS Z getting gawked at by the general public. Made me smile cause thats probably what happens when we park our Z's somewhere, but we're just not around to see it. The Z should've had a 'Hidden Camera' Option lol

Got my copy about a month and a half after I bought the Z.
for what it is I thought it was pretty cool.

 

I got mine about a week ago, and yeah, thats about 3 months after I got my Z.

I thought the run sucked. 3/4ths of the video is shot from the car, so Im looking at Prague, when I really want to see more of the car. When it would show the outside views for a split second It was killer.

More car less Prague.

 

oops I threw mine in the garbage can right away while watching LOTR3.

 

I got my car in March 11 after waiting for like 3 months and I didn't get jack, but got 2 copies while at an auto show 2 months ago- for free! I expected more of it but it's a nice rub-in anyway.

 

Anybody know if you can download the dvd anywhere on the internet? bit torrent, perhaps?

Its not worth downloading, at all.

 

just go to the dealer and ask them for a copy. Soon as I heard people had copies here I went to my dealer and got a copy of the run. I dont even have my Z until its being delivered in April, but they were more than happy to give me one.

 

All that money, time and effort to make such a boring video. What the hell happened? The setting of Prauge was a perfect backdrop for the Z. The film crew and equipement were vast. Closing streets and controling crowds alone had to take monumental effort and a fair amount of cash to grease some political palms. Were the stunt drivers too cautious? Is the director clueless about what constitutes interesting camera angles, setting up exciting shots of the Z sideways and out of shape? Or was it a case of Nissan not wanting to portray the wrong image of the 350Z? Being the arm chair director that I am, I would have had the Z backing it into the corners and smoking the tires coming out. Not every corner, but quite a few of them. Why not do some shots with a police pursuit? I for sure would have had a hot Czech chick strapped into the passenger seat wearing a short skirt. Eye candy.
By the way I bought the DVD, then received a complimentary copy from Nissan about 1 week ago. I bought my '04 Z in Sept.
