PPW = Pearl White????
You tell me, according to your avatar, it says you have a PPW.
Pearl is that sparkly pink/purple/red/blue color you get when the sun hits the pearlescent paint.
Shine better??? I don't know about that, butl it looks better, the shine is all about how smooth the finish is.

I like the PPW but settled for the Silverstone cause its the easiest to clean. lol. I think the PPW is my favorite color, but the rock chips that build up on the front bumper are gonna be black.

My Z is Pikes Peak White.
They both use the same touch up paint. In my opinion, they look the same, however, I believe my wife's car seems to sparkle a bit more. Not much though.
I think they are the exact same paint job just different names.
Also get a clear bra, no rock chips. Pricey though. If you're on a budget, get a regular black bra.

Clear Bra ranges from $300-$1000. Depends if you want a full bra or just the hood bra.
My full bra ran me $500. That is actually a good price, some places charges way more.
Do you homework on clear bra's, some places don't have a clue on installing these on Z's. Make sure they have done Z's prior.
GL!
Also I heard the black bra is a PITA to put on, and it doesn't cover the hood very well. My .02
I don’t have a Z yet. I have a white PT Cruiser. I have had fewer problems with stone chips on this car than I’ve had with any other color. Haven’t had a silver car, just blue, red, green, yellow.
The stone chips don’t really show up unless it goes right down to the metal. Cruisers have a white primer coat, as do many other cars I believe because my other cars would have little white flecks where they were hit by flying rocks.
Pearlescent paint is different from regular paint. I forget what it is exactly, but there is something like a very fine metallic flake. The good news is that non-pearlescent paint weathers better and lasts longer. Pearescent paint is not offered on the Z.

The paint on these cars is HORRIBLE, so it will chip easier than your white PT cruiser. The color isnt going to matter in this case.
Yes, Pearl White has metal flakes in it that makes it so beautiful. Caddy charges a $1k premium for their Pearl White cars. My mom previously had a "regular" white Caddy, and then a Pearl White.... *whew* beautiful.

Word of advice. Never assume two colors are the same. There are over 30,000 car colors and the only way to tell if they are the same is if the paint code is the same. Nissan's code is located under the hood on the metal placard on firewall. Nissan's are a combination of 3 letters/numbers, usually starting with a letter (i.e. Liquid Aluminum = K25) Just wanted to let you know before you start applying touch up paint from another car that looks the same.

Both my cars use QX1 per the dealer and the paint codes on the doors of both vehicles. So I am sure of that.
