Ive been searching for about 2 months at buying a 350z and i have come across this. The owner claims its a rare 2004 grand touring and from everything ive reseached they didnt make the coupe in grand touring till 2006. It has leather seats and brembos? so is it just a touring model that had brembos put on?

No such thing as a GT in 2004. Track editions came with the Brembo's and Touring models came in leather with Navi.

Just clicked on the pic... It's a Touring 6-speed w/navi and heated seats. The Navi cubby has a button instead of a latch, button automatically opens/closes when pressed. The guy added the Brembo's... My touring looked exactly the same inside. The Track also has individual diffusers being the rear tires.

 

Touring doesnt come standard with Navigation.

Nav was a $2000 option on Performance, Touring or Track models, a lot of people dont know that. Never offered on base/enthusiasts models

Still sounds/looks nice - worth looking at. Just call BS on his 'Grand Touring' Claim.

and i have a track 03 with nav dash as well.

 

$16,2 is steep. I'd keep looking if I were you.

 

Local buddy of mine has an '03 Track with Nav - he is the second owner, never uses it. Don't see many Track models with leather either. Slippery leather and Track don't go together I guess?

 

you can take the VIN number to your local Nissan shop and ask for the service records on it. it will show what model it has and who the original owner was and where. When I just bought my 03 touring I found out that the original owner had the driver side window motor fixed and had a clutch put in.
