This isn't specific to the Z, but I know someone who left their gps plugged in to the cig lighter and the gps shorted out and set fire to his interior.

Quite uncommon, but sometimes oily rags can spontaneously combust. For example i keep a rag in my car at all times in the event i need to check something (oil), touch something hot while im not at home. I keep it in the glove box. If you use the rag on oil and then just absent mindlessly crumple it up and throw it somewhere in the car, the rag holds temperature in and could possibly ignite.
