I apologize in advance if the following is common knowledge to you, but I just discovered that you can load/unload the CD player without having the key in the ignition.
Now a so great feature, since any punk breaking in the car can easily steal the CDs already loaded in the system.

My Audi does the same. Radio is fully 100% functional without the key in the car. If you leave it on and don't touch it, it turns off after and hour or two (to save the battery, I'm assuming).
Awesome feature. I think this should be required functionality in all car stereos, oem and aftermarket.
Just happened upon it one day while web searching. I thought to myself, now that's perfect form and along with the perfect form of the Z thought I'd tweak it a little and share it with all of you!!!
