Default Just discovered strange BOSE feature!

I apologize in advance if the following is common knowledge to you, but I just discovered that you can load/unload the CD player without having the key in the ignition.

Now a so great feature, since any punk breaking in the car can easily steal the CDs already loaded in the system.

I think that the non-Bose system does this as well.

Doesn't this 'feature' shut off after a few minutes with the key out of the ignition?

Someone breaks in your car, and you're worried about a couple CDs???

My aftermarket decks have always ejected CDs with the ignition off. Not a new feature.

In my BMW you can turn on the radio and navigation screen without the key. It turns off every hour or so.

My Audi does the same. Radio is fully 100% functional without the key in the car. If you leave it on and don't touch it, it turns off after and hour or two (to save the battery, I'm assuming).

Awesome feature. I think this should be required functionality in all car stereos, oem and aftermarket.

Thanks to Fatso, I also discovered that you can detach the floormats without having the key in the ignition.

Now a so great feature, since any punk breaking in the car can easily steal the floormats already loaded in the car.

Not intending to be disrespectful to FatZo, but my thought was about the same as SweatyPalm's.

Hey HVN N HEL, I've seen that picture in your avatar b4. You replaced the teddy bear with the "Z" logo. So, what **** site was it?

Just happened upon it one day while web searching. I thought to myself, now that's perfect form and along with the perfect form of the Z thought I'd tweak it a little and share it with all of you!!!

Happy New Year!!
