Why rag on my ride ? Kinda chickenchit IMO-it's mine and i am happy with it. I could explain all 4 but I'm not. Your statements may be your opinion but if all you can do is be rude about someone elses ride maybe you can keep it to yourself.

Everyone here is an enthusiast and, furthermore, entitled to his or her opinion. We're all here because we love these cars and like to share ours with others/gawk at other owners'. I think your rims are mismatched on the Z as well.

that is insulting me and my vehicle, nothing constructive there, it's one thing to say i don't like your choices, it's another to tell someone to go find a nice car-no need for that

now-The headlights were clear and polished but in the months from June last year till last week-it sat in the sun-i will be taking care of the haze in the next few days-not that it's really anyones concern-it bugs me...
I work in a chemical plant, end up behind trucks a lot of the time and as such need the nose painted, till i do so i have the bra on it
the rims were a purchase i made because the price was right and i like them better than the stock 18's, they are staggered and allow a bit more rubber on the ground, i will change to another wheel i like better at a future date, not that i have to because someone doesn't like them...
as for the "gap" personal choice on a dd
none of this deserves calling my car chit, or "undeserving of a new engine-that is just rude, wanna make a suggestion? comment that you don't like someones choices-no prob-but being plain insulting? As you said we are all Z enthusiasts, my car is clean, and while not to everyones taste certainly not deserving of being called "chit"

not "butt hurt" , however you didn't say you didn't like my Z- you said it was "chit" and i needed to find a nice car . In what way was that remotely the statement one "enthusiast" makes to another-you were personally insulting

I can post any damn pic i want-haven't had my Z since June 23rd last year-was excited to get it back and enjoy it again and sharing pics from the the repair and getting it home as pics were requested by some, so my car is dirty - well i just got it back. As for you-you sir are an ***

I think its awesome that they helped you out, but have to agree with SirSpeedyZ, get some new headlights and wheels to go with that shiny engine. I know I know, you like it that way, but by posting pics of it on this forum with big ugly chrome rims, you're going to get negative feedback wether you like it or not.

 

Thanks for the feedback The headlights will be sorted this week , the rims will do till i get the set i want-just a matter of cubic $ A lot of our cars are never done-just works in progress, the bra goes when it gets painted and a clear bra on the nose. It was just the tone and method SirSpeedy took that I have issue with-I certainly dont refer to other peoples things as "chit" whether i like it or not-didn't find that there was anything positive in his post-just a rude slamming of my Z-what's the point ? In comparison-while you dont care for my Z at this point you were at least polite about it. My Z is back on the road-major issue dealt with, now it's time for the details.... I suppose expecting civility on the "interwebz" , even on a Z forum was a bit much to expect from some lol

 

I think this thread was really made to acknowledge the great work of some people not to judge the ride.

Exactly !-I had only had the car a few mins yet when the pics were taken-wasn't even thinking about waiting till it was picture perfect-just home where it belonged. Been outta my hands for 9 mos Was excited to finally have it back !

SirSpeedy-I def understand webposts don't always convey intent-your post came across as insulting/demeaning, no positive message there. Really couldn't find anything positive in what you had to say.

lol too true-need to get it painted rather than preserving it, i work at a chem plant and everyone here drives a 4X4 and between them and the big trucks the nose got severely rock chipped, i intend to get it painted shortly but till then .... i am sure folks can understand having to budget, hence the bra, once it's painted then I will do the clear cover. As for it looking like ****, some folks like it some don't, other than a couple severely negative opinions from the forum it's been less than an issue, that said-it's not a permanant mod-

 

If you post pictures of your car, it is constructive criticism, if you post in other forums, you will get the same response. Enjoy your car and this is how you wanted it, so don't worry about anything else.
