Default Inspected a Z today

I stopped by my dealer today to see if the CS I seen on their inventory had came in. Yep is was in but was at their body shop across town. I finally got my vin number and went across town to check it out.

I'd seen a glimpse of a redline a couple of weeks ago but it was moving in the opposite direction and looked like an exoitic till I got a quick glance of it's tail lights. It also looked bigger than I expected.

Well the CS looked mucy smaller and lower to the ground it was a touring 6mt "with the doors unlocked"

It may have looked smaller because the nose was missing on it. It seems it was damage in shipping "hope this doesn't become a common thing" and had 4 or 5 inch scratch across the nose. I guess they would repaint with the nose off the car.

Any ways the car had plenty of head room and lots of shoulder room compared to my rx-7.

The nav door worked fine, amd the frost interior was beatiful.

I check it out for orange peel, it was very noticable even with the CS on the sides of the car. I couldn't see any on the top surfaces but they were dirty still as the car hadn't been preped.

I stopped by a cadillac dealer and was checking the paint on the CTS you could see orange peel even on the top surfaces.
btw that's really a nice looking sedan I'd be tempted if I was in the market for a sedan.

Any way I guess the paint is cruddy on all most cars theses days.

It looked pretty nice on the S2000 but they have problems with peeling paint which don't sound to enticeing either.

Any way the 350z looks alot more like a porsche in person that it does in the pics maybe nicer, and I guess I can live with a little orange peel.
