I personally think the Z should take another 6 year vacation like they did after the 300zx. It keeps things fresh. The Juke is pure nonsense, they need to resurrect the S-chassis.

I am a proud owner of a 2006 350Z (Z33) and I am looking forward to the Z losing some weight. In addition, a more refine higher revving engine that has a smooth peak and better roaring acoustic sound. I love the VQ but I think there is some work to be done and times are changing so Nissan may need partway with that engine for something that will take the Z into the future. I would be happy if Nissan went to an in-line 6 instead of updating the current HR engine that’s used in 2007-2013 Z33 and Z34's. I would like to see the Z grow but also get more competitive as a sport car giant slayer by taking on Porsche, Audi, etc. but still affordable as it has been. Nissan, if you offer two engines that works just fine for me, but PLEASE DO NOT LOSE THE 6!!! Cut were you have to or downsize the 6cy or go to a in-line 6 like BMW M3/M4 is doing but please do not scrap it. In addition, I love my 6-speed manual but Nissan may need to consider a 7-speed manual or lower cost GT-R tranny as many companies are switching over to seven and eight speed auto gearboxes. In my opinion, the GT-R's gearbox is awesome and Nissan should consider a very efficient gearbox to match with a well-balanced in-line 6 N/A and/or turbo 6 for the Nismo

400 hp or bust.
Its been 300hp for 25 years now. Time to step up to the competition. GTs are walking around at 420. Hyundai is at f-ing 348HP. I've had enough of their excuses. This isn't a mass production type of car. They've tried to force the issue and it's never worked. Make it powerful. Make it expensive. On second thought, a "hiatus" would probably be the best thing for us. Less cars equal more rare equals value holder. This depreciation sucks. And I hate to see the kids driving them around ricing them out.
