Do you turn TCS/VDC off???
I can't believe so many ppl run with it off. I can understand having it off at the track I suppose, but normal street driving... what are you guys thinking?
Please change the first poll option to: "Yes, I want the full wreck experience."

I'm also thinking that VDC almost got me killed when I pulled out in to an intersection with plenty of time, but accidentally spun the tires on some gravel. I was halfway in to oncoming traffic with no throttle control. Luckily I had enough time once the throttle came back to avoid being t-boned.
Lastly, I am intelligent enough to know that in 17 years of driving I have never been in an accident that VDC / TC / or even ABS would have prevented. Again, because I don't drive like an idiot.
I will say that I normally end up running with VDC off, however, on my way to work this morning I realized just what it was for. I was in a rush and the right turn arrow was on for a corner I take almost every day. So I hurried to the light, heel toed into third, then into second. Took the corner at a relatively reasonable speed (~20mph) but what I wasn't aware of was the fact that there was fluid on the ground from a recent accident (it was still dark out at 6am). The back end came out (which is not new to me, I'm not an expert but I've been autocrossing and had the opportunity to practice car control) and surprised me. As a groggy person that was not expecting it, VDC definitely kept me in-line. Now, would I have been able to save it myself? Probably. Is "probably" worth it, though? I'm no longer taking VDC off unless conditions are good and I know the area well.
It's just not worth it. There are too many variables.

Ive recently started driving with tsc off when the roads are dry and i gotta say i can def feel a difference . The cars steering feels lighter and my throttle response seems a lot better . The car also accelerates more smoothly on the highway. Does any body else have the same feeling when they turn tsc off?
I always drive with TCS off except when there is rain. I don't think I've ever been in a situation where I've had the rear end slide out on me without doing it purposely. Also I usually don't drive like an idiot...

Sounds like you need to go back to a Honda. LOL
Were you at a track, or a quarter mile strip when you raced this friend?
