Hey guys,
First week with my new Z. I've found my driving preference is to have TCS off at all times. Is there a way to have it off by default? Googled and searched the forum but haven't found a solution. Cheers.

I've never turned off the VDC because my car doesn't have it. I do however, have TCS and turn it off once in a while during spirited driving through German country roads. The only time I made sure to leave the TC ON (yes, ON) was when I took my Z to the Nurburgring. I'm all about pushing myself and my Z to the limit, but one grave mistake on the Green Hell can mean:

1. Death
2. Wrecked Z
3. Damage to a guard rail which equates to thousands of Euros
4. 2 & 3 usually go together
5. All of the above

There you go.

If you frequently drive like a moron I suggest leaving it on as a little safeguard. For spirited driving (a track or you want to drift in an empty parking lot with no bystanders around) turn it off. But I leave it on all the time when I'm on the road just because I hate seeing the light on. And there's no point in turning it off if I'm not at a track.

I leave it "ON"!! Been riding a motorcycle for 4 years... My timing is still a little off when I'm shifting! Getting better though... only had my car for 3 months.

The VDC in my HR stays off 100% of the time.

If you can't drive it, don't buy it.
