Ramps for uphill driveway into garage
So we just moved into a house and when we went to pull our cars in the garage the bottom dropped out underneath the car causing it to scrape as we entered. Basically, we couldn't pull our cars into the garage. I have a 350z Nismo which is somewhat lower than the standard and my boyfriend has an extremely lowered 240sx, his car actually go hung and almost got stuck onto the garage. So we found a solution, check out these cool ramps that were built so the cars wouldn't scrape!
As you can see with the last photo, I was able to pull the car in with no problems!

You're going to want to spray that with some textured rhino lining (rubberized bed liner) for traction in the rain, or your car may slide off of it. You also definitely want to cover it with something like mentioned above if it isn't treated wood, or it won't take long to begin to rot and then fail under the weight of the car.

The Nismo looks normal height to me...?
At any rate,sometimes you gotta do what you goota do.
As Z owners,I'm sure everyone has has a problem getting up on drive-on
ramps.Even with stock suspensions.
Although your ramps are functional,I could not get away with them being
a permanent fixture in my driveway.My wife would not be pleased.I would'nt
either.Aesthetically they look pretty bad.I agree,you need some coating of sorts.
Wood is gonna rot/gets slick.A gray colored textured material to match your concrete
would help.Last I looked,you can get this no skid stuff in rolls.Not sure on how good
the adhesive would work.I imagine,a good seal job of the wood's surface would have to be done first.

You should be able to get the bed liner stuff in a grey that will blend a little better with your driveway. A quick google search found an example of color matched rhino lining: http://www.rhinoliningsofflatirons.c...oroptions.html

may want to treat those supports for awning while you're at it.
My HOA would have a field day with this, but like others mentioned... .when we shopped houses, the driveway was a deal breaker on two. My girl even told the realtor, that's a bad driveway for sportscars and we'll likely always have one... next. she's a keeper.

use fiberglass and resin to seal the wood like you would if you were building the deck of a boat, it will be solid and definitely not rot. when you go to paint, buy some nonskid to mix in with the paint as if you were going to paint the deck of a boat. problem solved

We just moved in so we haven't had time to spray the liner for the tires. The wood is treated we just need to spray it with a gray color to match the driveway. This house is a rental so I really don't care how it looks on the driveway as long as we can pull ours cars in. The bottom of the driveway isn't that bad, you just pull in and back out at an angle.

nice ramps! I may be having to carry something like this to get out of my winding driveway into the road. Are they bolted/screwed down or moveable?
Just an added note, this may be a red flag to thieves. If they are any kind of educated in car theft, they will know why those ramps are there. Usually indicates something valuable on the other side.
