Hello everyone I got my first z on trade and it has a fuel leak I was just wondering it anyone knew a part number or anything about it. The inner red circle is where it's leaking the "male" part of the connecter the plastic and the metal peice or a suggestion for the fix
Without knowing the exact trim details of your Z, there could be some differences depending on year (DE, RevupDE, HR). But that specific part is sold as an assembly. The plastic lock clip is sold separate.
There should be an O-ring seal between the flex-line and the hard line, but I can't find the P/N for that, perhaps it comes with the Fuel Damper Assembly. Your hard line is looking pretty rusty/crusty, so I would have a replacement O-ring on hand and do you best to clean up the rust. If it's already leaking, the hard line may not be repairable...it might just break apart when you disconnect them.
I've seen guys make sealing surface or gasket surface repairs using JB Weld and some sanding. You might be able to get away with some epoxy or even RTV. So long as the O-ring mating surfaces are smooth & clean and you don't have rust pin-holes in the fuel hard line, it should be fixable. But if the the rest of the hard line looks that bad, I would replace all of it for safety reasons.
Worst case scenario the hard line crumbles, there's a good chance you could get what you need from a salvage yard on the cheap.
Good Luck!

I'm trying to solve same problem, unfortunately my leak is in the metal line just before the quick connect. Wondering if your leak was on the metal line and what you did to fix?

Mine was rusted close to the rubber connection. So I bought a longer piece of hose idk what size I bought a couple different sizes, then I slide it past where it was as broken at and hose clamped it. Once I figured out what size hose was super tight I yanked it off and put a ton of rtv on it and hose clamped it and hasn’t leaked sense just sold the car!
It was on the metal line just before the quick connect fitting. A hole rusted thru the line so I cut that part off with a small tubing cutter. I picked up a double bubble 5/16 (8mm) x 12" fuel line, Part # 730-4930 and a 5/16 compression union, Part #: NOE 7305006. I cut the line in half, because you only need one bubble for the quick connect, and installed it with the compression union. If you do this yourself keep in mind you can over tighten a brass compression fitting so keep that in mind. Napa also has steel compression unions that are probably harder to over tighten so if you have never used brass the steel might be a better option. Good luck.
