I have a 2003 Track (original owner - 177,000 miles) version with a noise coming from the rear (like something is loose) and no mechanic can discover what it is. Has anyone had similar experience? Also, the window motors have been replaced (5 passenger window) (twice drivers side) now the drivers side again. Anyone experience the same. Has anyone needed to replace engine valve covers?

Probably not the best way to ask for help here but eh, oh well. You'll learn how to use the search function quick. The long short, and skinny? Our cars eat window motors and valve cover gaskets ALWAYS leak on a used car. Period. Sound from rear sounds like metal or rubbing plastic? Something loose could be a suspension component, bad bushing, a loose piece of plastic, or possibly that one loose nut behind the wheel No worries, it's normal for the cars to need parts and maintenance. take care of her and she'll take care of you!

I got mine for $2,250..

2005 roadster from a salvaged auto auction with 50k miles. Front end damage.

$4,250 after auction fees and replacement parts. Salvaged title obviously. I still feel like I came out on top.

Can't complain about a $5k track and weekend car. Going FI this week on 350z all for less than $10k.

Default 2005 Nissan 350Z Touring 5AT

I bought my 2005 Nissan 350z 5AT Touring Edition last November 2016 for 13K it's 84,866 miles on it, its pretty bone stock, its really fun to drive, the engine is so powerful, it corners the roads flawlessly, the handling is so stiff it's really a sports car.

Wow great rude comment. Thanks. This is the kind of attitude is unfortunately the reason why a lot of people end up not joining car forums. And why I am always hesitant. Thanks for being so unwelcoming.

Oh dude, you totally took that the wrong way. I was commenting on the irony of how $9999... ahh, nevermind.

Enjoy the car. Feel welcome. Be happy.

Got mine in July, 2003 Touring, 5AT, couple of accidents, 6/10. 5 grand. Silverstone Metallic.
I think it was a good price, based on the things that need to be done. It's also my learning project.

Br,
Al
